5 Important Tips On Dog Training
When training a dog, there are a number of techniques that work ...we list 5 such dog training tips below
Socialization – Make sure your dog is well socialized with people and other animals. The more comfortable your dog is in various situations the better training response you will get.
Barking – Teach your puppy from an early age the appropriate time to bark. Otherwise, you will end up with a barking dog that is annoying to you and to others.
Playtime versus Training Time – Keep these two times separate so your dog knows when to be serious and when to play. In this case, if you were going through a training session with your dog, do not make it playtime, which would only cause confusion.
Leash – When training your dog, at least initially, use a leash. During training sessions, you need to be in control. By keeping your pet on a leash, you again put yourself in a dominant position.

5. Expectations – Teach your dog at a pace where he will learn. For instance, if your dog were slower at learning or perhaps a bit stubborn, drilling him every day would probably cause stress, thus poor results. Keep to a good schedule without pushing too hard.
